De Domtoren van Utrecht

The Dom Tower is the most iconic landmark of Utrecht and, at 112 meters, the tallest church tower in the Netherlands. Built between 1321 and 1382 as part of St. Martin’s Cathedral, the tower has stood apart since the nave collapsed during a storm in 1674.

Visitors can climb 465 steps to reach the top and enjoy panoramic views of the city and beyond. On clear days, you can see as far as Amsterdam and Rotterdam. The tower is composed of three main sections: a solid square base, a second square level, and an octagonal lantern.
