The National Monument Kamp Vught, located near 's-Hertogenbosch, is a poignant memorial on the site of the former SS concentration camp Herzogenbusch. Between January 1943 and September 1944, nearly 32,000 people were imprisoned here, including Jews, resistance fighters, Roma, Sinti, and other persecuted groups. For many, Vught was a transit camp; for approximately 12,000 Jewish prisoners, it was a gateway to the extermination camps in occupied Poland.

The permanent exhibition "Kamp Vught: 32,000 Stories and Seven Seasons" provides an in-depth look into camp life. Visitors can explore a reconstructed barrack, the crematorium, and the infamous cell 115, where in January 1944, ten women died due to overcrowding and lack of ventilation.

After the war, the camp served as an internment facility for collaborators and later as a reception center for Moluccan KNIL soldiers and their families.

The museum is located at Lunettenlaan 600 in Vught and is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on weekends from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
