Bosch by Night Lichtshow

Bosch by Night is a breathtaking light show in the city of ’s-Hertogenbosch, inspired by the works of the legendary painter Jheronimus Bosch. During this evening experience, the historic city center is transformed into a magical world of light, projection and music.

Held annually in the winter, the event uses cutting-edge projection mapping to bring Bosch’s surreal and fantastical paintings to life on the facades of buildings, squares and streets. The journey takes visitors past iconic landmarks such as the Market Square, the City Hall, Saint John’s Cathedral and the canals of the Binnendieze.

Each stop along the route reveals a new scene or theme from Bosch’s world: morality, dreams, temptation, fantasy and more. The combination of light, art and architecture creates an immersive story that captivates all ages.

Bosch by Night is free to attend and can be explored at your own pace. Guided tours are also available for those who want to learn more about the artist and the techniques behind the show.
