In the heart of the town, the Van der Valk family opened the doors of their hotel in Katwoude on April 21, 1973. We, Jan and Mireille (fourth generation Van der Valk), were later appointed as management. We proudly transformed our family's foundation into a renovated, homely, luxurious, comfortable, and sustainable hotel.

Soon, you'll be able to sample a sparkling cocktail at Bar 1480. Starting in November, you can also hold inspired meetings and celebrate exuberantly in one of the 11 versatile function rooms, named after the original fishing boats known as botters. By 2026, the hotel will boast 204 rooms and will open its outdoor location, De Zegen. No matter when you arrive, you'll be surprised by the welcoming luxury of this vibrant region.
