Twente is a fantastic region for nature- and culture lovers. Enjoy the Sallandse Heuvelrug or the extensive peat area Engbertsdijksvenen. The historic city Ootmarsum is definitely worth a visit. The picturesque village is known for its half-timbered houses. In Ootmarsum you will find many art galleries. The H.H. Simon and Judas Church is situated in the centre of Ootmarsum. The church dates from the 13th century and is the only example of the Westphalian Romanogothic in the Netherlands.

Landgoed de Holtweijde offers various facilities, such as a pool, saunas, 2 tennis courts, a Pitch & Putting green and a driving range. Lattrop is easily accessible by car. The chef and his team prepare lovely meals and mainly make use of regional products. In winter local hunters are called in to hunt for game. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant.

The estate has 76 suites with spacious bedroom with balcony or terrace. The rooms are fitted with all modern conveniences such as a private sun terrace, Flatscreen-TV, electric kettle, Nespresso coffee-maker, mini-bar and bathroom with shower and/or bath, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries.
