The surrounding area of De Lutte offers all kinds of opportunities. You can walk or cycle through Het Lutterzand, an extensive nature area with sand drifts that is crossed by the Dinkel river. You can visit the Isterberg, a nature reserve just across the German border. In Germany you will find the city Bad Bentheim, an old Spa town with wonderful castle.
