Hotel Restaurant Princenhof is located on the edge of the water sports village of Earnewâld, right in the heart of Friesland. The small Frisian village is located between Drachten, Heerenveen and Leeuwarden, in one of the most beautiful nature reserves of Friesland: National Park ‘De Alde Feanen’. The rural location is a perfect operating base for cycling-, walking tours and boat trips. In addition, a visit to one of the 11 Frisian cities is also highly recommendable.

Earnewâld is uniquely located on the water, as well as the restaurant of Hotel Princenhof: Restaurant & Brasserie Puur Prince. Puur Prince offers a spacious terrace on the water. You can enjoy a breakfast, lunch or dinner, as well as a cup of coffee, a drink or a high tea. In the summer on our sunny terrace or in winter in our atmospheric restaurant.

The Alde Feanen is an interconnected bog complex with a total surface of approx. 2500 hectares, of which more than 1500 hectares are owned and managed by It Fryske Gea. The area mainly consists of lakes, peat lakes, reed lands, brushwood, thickets and swamp forests.
