The hotel offers 68 comfortable and tastefully furnished rooms, divided into several room types. All rooms are equipped with box-spring beds, a desk, sitting area, television, safe, air conditioning, coffee and tea facilities, and a private bathroom with a shower and/or bath, hairdryer, and toilet.

The charming Restaurant de Ooievaar serves breakfast and dinner only. The restaurant does not offer lunch and is closed for dinner on Sundays, allowing you to choose from the many dining options in Schagen's town center.

Schagen has a rich history and is known for its charming town center and vibrant traditions. The former castle complex now serves as a hotel. The historic castle tower and accompanying museums can be visited upon request. Schagen is also especially popular for its events, such as the annual West Frisian Folklore Market and the Slotgracht Concert.

The area surrounding Schagen is also worth exploring. Surrounded by a diverse landscape of polders and nature, the town is perfect for cycling. Furthermore, the dunes and beach of Callantsoog, where peace, space, and fresh sea air converge, are just half an hour away.
