The castle is located on a 441m high ridge above the city. With almost 1000 years of history, this castle is the most famous castle in Germany. You can also visit the museum of the eponymous former car brand Wartburg. Here, you can learn everything about the history of the car brand and the acquisitions of BMW and Opel, among others.
