Your stay at Hotel De Stokerij in Oudenburg, short or long, is an experience in itself! Oudenburg is one of the oldest cities of Belgium and is located in Flanders. The famous Belgian cities of Bruges and Oostende are located at only 15km from your hotel. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, there are various cycling- and walking routes that take your through the beautiful landscape of Flanders. You can download these walking- and cycling routes in the hotel, via a user-friendly app. For a small fee you can also receive a paper version in the hotel.
The hotel offers 8 unique rooms, each with a different theme. The rooms have a double bed or two single beds, a TV, minibar, desk, safe, telephone, airco and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Disabled rooms are available on request. In the morning, a delicious breakfast is served in the restaurant. In the evening you can enjoy the most delicious fresh fishes. Chef Jan Schaek prepares an unforgettable dinner. The restaurant is closed on Sundays.
Oudenburg is a city in the Belgian province of West Flanders, on the border of De Polders and the Zandleem region. Oudenburg is, thanks to the Roman Archeological Museum & nature reserve (within walking distance from the hotel) a very interesting city. Motorcycle enthusiasts will enjoy the Oldtimer Motorcycle Museum, which is located in the Bikers Loft Hotel. Here, you will find up to 100 motor cycles, scooters and mopeds. The neighbouring cities of Gistel and Jabbbeke are also worth a visit.
Hotel de Stokerij is a perfect operating base for discovering Bruges, “the Venice of the North” or the coast of Ostend. In the cities of Diksmuide and Ypres, the many victims of the First World War are still commemorated. In addition, you will find many military cemeteries in this area.
You can check in between 10:00 am and noon or from 4:00 to 06:00 pm. The hotel is closed between 01:00 and 04:00 pm.
