Hotel De Roode Schuur exudes the atmosphere of a real shed, with a contemporary look. A combination of modern, with a nod to rural and traditional values. The perfect location to relax and enjoy. There is no need to hurry on your day of departure. You may leave at 11.00 am and at noon in the weekend!

We owe the name De Roode Schuur to a farm that stood here for decades. This farm had a shed with a red roof and since it was situated on the edge of Nijkerk and at the main road at the time, it became a landmark. Many changes have taken place since then, but the name has always remained.

The hotel offers 6 different room types in 8 different interior styles. All rooms have free coffee- and tea facilities, refrigerator, airco / climate control and a shower. The Superior Room and the Superior Plus Room also have a bathtub. The hotel has a Finnish sauna (for a fee). For this, you must make a reservation in advance. In addition, the hotel offers bikes / e-bikes (for a fee). There are several walking- and cycling routes, through the beautiful nature of the Veluwe.
