Hotel de Elderschans is situated a the Elderschans, a former isolated reinforcement to the west of Aardenburg (oldest city of the province of Zeeland). Both inner- and outer canal of the fortress have mainly been preserved. In these woody surroundings you can enjoy lovely walks and cycle tours. It is the only forest in the immediate vicinity and one of the few estates in Zeeland Flanders.

Aardenburg is the perfect operating base for a lovely walk, cycle tour or Nordic walking tour along fantastic places of interest. The hotel is situated near beach, shops (Sluis) and Belgian cities like the historic Bruges and the bustling Knokke. The hotel offers a cosy restaurant (180 seats). In the morning you can enjoy a lovely breakfast buffet , in the afternoon a fantastic lunch. In summer all sun terraces are open. In the evening delicious dishes are served. The hotel has a bar, a lounge, a sauna, a fitness room and parking places.
