In the centre of the artistic village Bergen you will find Hotel 1900. Bergen, in the province of North Holland, is situated in woody surroundings near the sea. Schoorl offers the highest, widest and most beautiful dunes of the Netherlands. In the middle of the village there is a huge climbing dune.

Hotel 1900 is a cosy, atmospheric family hotel on a top location in the centre of the picturesque Bergen, in a quiet side street. In Summer the terrace is open and you can enjoy a glass of wine in the salty air. The 3-star hotel is situated in 2 villas with a garden and offers cosy hotel rooms. The rooms are not extremely big, yet cosy. The old character of the villa has been preserved. All 40 rooms have a private bathroom. The hotel rooms on the first or second floor can only be reached by stairs. Disabled guests can rent a room on the ground floor. Dogs are allowed (at a fee).

After a walk along the beach or a cycle tour you can relax in the lounge room, inclusive of pool billiard. The hotel offers a bike shed and a charging station for e-bikes. There is a limited number of parking places in front of the hotel (Euro 15,00 a day). Parking permits for the surrounding streets are available at the reception (Euro 10,00 a day). The nearest bus stop is situated at approx. 300 m from the hotel. During your stay you can for example visit Alkmaar. Alkmaar offers many shops and terraces. The cheese market is worth a visit. Amsterdam is situated at approx. 50 minutes from the hotel.
