The Mosel flows through France, Luxembourg and Germany. It is a left tributary of the Rhine, which it joins at Koblenz. Approx. half of this 544 long river is situated in Germany. The part of the river that flows in Trier is also called the Mosel Valley, because of its many curves. Tourism and winegrowing are extremely important for this area. Along the Mosel you will find typical wine cities and –villages. The typical timbered houses create a romantic atmosphere.

Old cities like Trier and Koblenz are definitely worth a visit.

Gästehaus Moselkloster is situated in wine village Trittenheim, amidst the old roman city Trier and the romantic Bernkastel-Kues. Trittenheim has many vineyards and probably most winegrowers of this region. The wines Trittenheimer Apotheke and Trittenheimer Altärchen are famous in this region. Of course you should definitely join a wine tasting!

Gästehaus Moselkloster is managed by the Family Eifel and offers 15 rooms. Each room has its own style. All rooms have a bathroom with bath and toilet and a TV. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room. The hotel offers a nice terrace and an own vineyard. IN this vineyard various wine tastings are organized.
