Vechtdal Overijssel
The Vechtdal: a natural, green, hospitable and special environment. In this pleasant environment you can relax and there is plenty to do for young & old. There is something for everyone: art, culture, nature and museums. Ommen is located in the heart of the Vechtdal. It is the most popular tourist attraction in the Vechtdal with many highlights. In addition to the many museums, the varied nature is definitely worth a visit. Visit the many estates with castles, forests, heathland, sand drifts, rivers De Vecht and De Regge. You should definitely visit the Lemelerberg. This 60m high lateral moraine is characterized by heathland, broad-leaved forest and drifting sand flats. The routes will also take you through the village of Beerze; a protected rural area with its authentic Saxon farms. The Sahara in Ommen is a rather unknown gem in the Vechtdal. This sand drift is hidden in the woods.

Sallandse Heuvelrug
National Park Sallandse Heuvelrug is a unique place where you will still find one of the largest contiguous dry heath areas in Europe! De Sallandse Heuvelrug is a moraine with many height differences and mountains. In this dynamic nature reserve you can enjoy the beautiful views and landscapes in the woods and on the hilly heaths. The park offers several viewpoints with a magnificent view of the landscape. You can also visit Landgoed Twickel. On this beautiful estate you will find Castle Twickel with the castle- and vegetable garden and various historic buildings and monuments.

Twente
Twente has everything for a wonderful holiday. Enjoy the rolling landscapes, the beautiful nature, historic estates, unique (water)mills and authentic villages & small cities. You should definitely visit the art city of Ootmarsum. The picturesque centre has a rich history with numerous galleries, but also beautiful nature reserves like Het Springendal and De Engbertsdijkvenen. The Mander circles (circles of Jannink), the largest landscape art project in the Netherlands, can also be found in the Twente. Unique historic places in Twente are the water mills of Frans and Bels and Het Stift near Weerselo.
